Africa Agribusiness Academy

Our Chapters

These AAA member companies share and pool their knowledge and experiences, collaborate and form partnerships, support one another and provide inspiration and guidance for current and up-and-coming agribusinesses, inside and outside of the network.

The AAA supports these entrepreneurs by offering capacity development and training opportunities, marketing, communication and networking support and facilitating the collaboration and mutual learning of all members.

Africa Agribusiness Academy Uganda Chapter was registered in October 2012 and its membership has grown over the years. The members have used the opportunities for networking to support one another to grow their businesses

The members of the chapter are in different sectors such as Fruits and Vegetables, Honey, dairy, Fish, Agri-Inputs and Poultry. The most dominant sector in the Uganda chapter is the Honey Sector. The honey sector members support one another to fulfil orders, participate in events and provide equipment support with the overall objective of work together to build one another’s businesses.

In Uganda some of the members are partnering through a Village Model Approach which shows AAA entrepreneurs are impacting the lives of underprivileged farmers and helping them to turn from subsistence farmers to small commercial farmers, earning money and improving their livelihoods in real monetary terms

The most dominant sector in the Malawi chapter is Horticulture Sector. The honey sector members support one another to fulfil orders, participate in events and provide equipment support with the overall objective of work together to build one another’s businesses.
